Court appearance for man after Mayo stabbing

A 23-year-old man has been charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man in Kiltimagh, Co. Mayo in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The body of 24-year-old father-of-two Francis Heneghan was found by gardaí who were alerted to a public order incident in a laneway off the town's main street.

A man was arrested at 11.30am yesterday and is due to appear in court in the morning.
