Book of condolence for Eunice Kennedy Shriver
A book of condolence is due to be opened in Dublin today for the late Eunice Kennedy Shriver, who died on Tuesday at the age of 88.
Ms Kennedy Shriver - a sister of former US President John F Kennedy - was a tireless campaigner for the rights of the intellectually disabled and set up the Special Olympics in the 1960s.
Members of the public will be able to sign a book of condolence at the Mansion House in Dublin between 10am and 6pm today and tomorrow.
A public wake for Ms Kennedy Shriver is due to take place in the US today, while a private funeral mass will be held tomorrow in Hyannis.
