€10,000 reward for information on stab victim’s identity

Crimestoppers is offering a €10,000 reward for information about the identity of a woman who was found dead in the Phoenix Park in Dublin last week.

The woman, who had been stabbed several times in the upper body, was found in a wooded area of the park last Wednesday afternoon. It is believed she was a foreign national.

A photograph of her face was issued last week in an effort to find out who she was, but nobody has come forward to confirm her identity.

Gardaí say she was in her late 30s or early 40s, 4' 10" in height, of medium build, with short, brown hair and light brown eyes.

When found, she was wearing a fleece zip-up jacket, a rugby-type top with red and blue stripes and three-quarter-length pink leggings.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crimestoppers on 1800 25 00 25
