Pipe bomb explodes outside house in Dublin

Gardaí are investigating a pipe-bomb attack on a house in Dublin overnight.

The device exploded outside the house in the Deansrath area of Clondalkin at around 2am.

It caused damage to the front door, but the building was unoccupied at the time and nobody was injured.
