Man crushed to death by truck

A 45-year-old man has died after the truck he was working on fell on him in Co. Tipperary.

The incident happened at Coolbaun, near Borrisokane, yesterday afternoon.

The Shannon-based Coast Guard helicopter airlifted the man to hospital in Limerick, where he died a short time later.

Two investigations into the tragedy are underway.
