Boy dies following Cork road accident

A 14-year-old boy has died in hospital in Cork after he was struck by a car earlier in the week.

The boy, who has been named as Jake O’ Donoghue, was cycling near the village of Innishannon at about 4.30pm on Wednesday afternoon when the accident happened.
