IFA: 12,000 jobs in line to get the Snip

Up to 12,000 jobs could be lost in the farming sector and the Exchequer funds could also be down millions if the Bord Snip proposals are implemented.

That is according to the Irish Farmers Association (IFA) who have issued a detailed economic analysis of the McCarthy report which was published last month.
