Around 100 people are protesting outside the Four Courts in Dublin this afternoon in support of Thomas Cook workers who are due in court for breaching a High Court injunction.

Twenty-eight staff members were arrested when gardaí forced their way into the company's office on Grafton Street this morning to end a five-day sit-in protest.

Twenty-seven of them are due to be brought before the High Court today after disobeying the court's order to leave the premises by 7pm yesterday.

The 28th person arrested this morning - pregnant woman Avril Boyne - has since given birth to a baby girl at the Coombe Hospital.
