Two arrested in connection with stabbing

A man has been stabbed with a knife in a forest park in Co Down.

The victim suffered several non-life threatening injuries during last night’s assault in Tollymore Forest Park, Newcastle.

A man aged in his 30s and a woman have been arrested in connection with the incident at around 11.30pm.

Detectives appealed for anybody with information to contact them.
