Majority still saving money in spite of recession, says survey
A large majority of Irish people are still saving money in spite of the recession, according to a survey by Postbank.
The bank says four-fifths of Irish adults are still saving on a regular basis and almost three-quarters intend to save as much or more than usual during the coming three months.
However, almost half said they would have to use some of their savings by October of this year.
