Plans by the HSE to supply medicines to patients on the Community Drugs Scheme have come under fire after pharmacists highlighted 'inaccuracies' in its list of participating pharmacies published in daily newspapers this morning.

The Irish Pharmacy Union in a statement said patients' anxiety has been increased by the "misinformation" contained in the list, published days before the August 1 deadline for pharmacists to withdraw from state drugs schemes following the Government's decision to cut fees and payments.
