Two held following Dublin heroin haul

Two men have been arrested today in connection with the seizure of what is believed to be €280k worth of heroin in Dublin.

Two men have been arrested today in connection with the seizure of what is believed to be €280k worth of heroin in Dublin.

The men, aged 23 and 26 respectively were detained after gardaí searched an apartment in the Northwood Complex in Santry shortly after 8pm last night.

The search followed the discovery of a substance believed to be heroin on St Margaret’s Road in Finglas after 1am yesterday morning.

A man arrested in connection with that seizure has been released without charge.
