Police given more time to question 1995 murder suspect
Detectives were today granted a further 36 hours to quiz a man arrested in connection with a murder in the North more than a decade ago.
The 49-year-old suspect was arrested in the Cambridge area on Monday to face questions about the death of Lorraine Mills in Ballymena, Co Antrim, in May 1995.
The 36-year-old mother-of-two was found dead at her home in Staffa Drive.
The man is being held at the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Serious Crime Suite in Antrim.
He was arrested by PSNI detectives working in conjunction with officers from Cambridgeshire Police.
