Minister to unveil plan for 'thousands' of technology jobs

Communications Minister Eamon Ryan is due to unveil a new Smart Economy initiative today that he says could create tens of thousands of jobs over the next decade.

The minister says the plan aims to create high-end, sustainable technology jobs by changing the way Irish people use the internet, transfer electronic data and create digital content.
