Post mortem to be carried out on Dublin shooting victim
A post mortem examination is to be carried out today on the body of a man who was shot dead in Ballyfermot in Dublin yesterday.
The victim has been named locally as 26-year-old Anthony Cannon from the south inner city.
He was chased by two assailants on to waste ground at the back of Ruby Finnegan's pub on St. Mary's Avenue yesterday afternoon.
Gardaí believe he was shot in the head with a handgun. He had been wearing a bulletproof vest.
