Relatives disappointed with Leas Cross findings
Relatives have expressed disappointment with yesterday's report into the treatment of patients at Leas Cross nursing home in Dublin.
The official report into the abuse and neglect of patients at the facility in Swords has concluded that standards declined because of inadequate staff numbers.
It says the HSE and the Health Board knew about problems at the home, but failed to do anything about them.
Relatives say they are unhappy that nobody has been held responsible for the matter.
A 'Prime Time Investigates' documentary uncovered the abuse and neglect of patients four years ago.
New standards have since been imposed on all nursing and a new inspection regime has also been introduced.
Speaking yesterday, Health Minister Mary Harney said she believed any potential problems would now be detected and eliminated quickly.
