Several injured in Clare collision

A number of people have been injured in a two-car collision in Co Clare.

Emergency services were called to the scene at Bansha on the Kilrush Road shortly before 4pm.

The two drivers of the cars, believed to be men in their thirties, were said to be in a serious condition.

A small boy who was a passenger in one of the cars has been rushed to hospital.

A stretch of the N68 was closed after the incident and diversions were put in place.
