Half of youth crime alcohol-related

Half of all youth crime is committed in situations where alcohol has been consumed, according to a report published today by the Irish Youth Justice Service.

The organisation says alcohol abuse among young people must be tackled if anti-social behaviour is to be addressed in communities around the country.
