Gardaí in Co Mayo have arrested a 29-year-old man following the death of a 61-year-old woman in Castlebar this morning.

Gardaí in Co Mayo have arrested a 29-year-old man following the death of a 61-year-old woman in Castlebar this morning.

The woman was found dead at a house in Blackfort, on the Newport Road, at around 4am.
