Motorists are being warned of severe traffic disruption on routes in and out of Dublin later due to large crowds attending the Annual Cemetery Mass at Dardistown.

Motorists are being warned of severe traffic disruption on routes in and out of Dublin later due to large crowds attending the Annual Cemetery Mass at Dardistown.

Between 30,000 and 40,000 people are expected to attend the blessing of the graves ceremony, which begins at 3pm this afternoon.

Gardaí say Collinstown Lane will be closed to all traffic from 1pm until 5pm this evening.

Siobhan Moore from the Dublin Airport Authority has warned passengers that traffic to Dublin Airport will also be affected.
