Biker killed in Tipperary

A motorcyclist has been killed in a road crash in Co Tipperary.

The accident happened at Abbey Street in Cahir at around 9.30am this morning when the man's bike crashed into an SUV.

Meanwhile gardaí are appealing for information after a man was killed in a crash in Co Wicklow yesterday.

One man was killed in the crash, involving two cars and two SUVs.

The victim has since been named as 37-year-old Ciaran Shannon of Annacurra, Aughrim

Gardaí at Baltinglass are investigating.
