Heroin seized in Ballymun

A 21-year-old man has appeared in court charged in connection with a drugs seizure in Dublin.

Kevin May, with an address at Shangan Hall in Ballymun, was charged with possession of more than €70,000 worth of heroin, and possession for sale or supply.

He was remanded on bail to appear at Blanchardstown District Court on September 4.

The drugs were recovered when gardai stopped and searched a car on Balbutcher Lane in Ballymun at around 9pm last night.
