UVF decommissioning announcement expected

A major announcement is expected in the morning.

The loyalist paramilitary group is expected to confirm that it has decommissioned its arsenal of weapons and explosives.

The decommissioning, it is understood, was witnessed by John De Chastelain and his officials from the International Decommissioning Commission.
