Panel to assess assets of religious congregations

The Government is set to begin deliberations today on the make-up of a three-person panel to assess the assets of Catholic congregations named in the Ryan Report.

The establishment of the panel was agreed between the 18 congregations and the Taoiseach at a meeting last night.
