An eight-year-old boy has died in hospital after being hit by a van in Donegal, gardaí confirmed today.

An eight-year-old boy has died in hospital after being hit by a van in Donegal, gardaí confirmed today.

The youngster, who was seriously injured in the crash on Friday evening, lost his fight for life last night.
