Investigations continue into three violent deaths
Garda investigations are continuing today into three separate violent deaths this week in Tipperary, Kerry and Dublin.
A 22-year-old man remains in custody in connection with the death of a 56-year-old man in Templemore on Wednesday night.
The victim was reportedly assaulted with a shovel during a row in the Lacey Avenue area.
In Co Kerry, meanwhile, Gardaí are continuing to appeal for witnesses following the fatal stabbing of a 17-year-old in Killarney.
Stephen Lyne was found dead by a roadside early yesterday morning.
Elsewhere, detectives in Dublin are still searching for the gunman who carried out the city's latest gangland killing on Wednesday evening.
Twenty-year-old Thomas Joyce, a known drug dealer, was shot dead outside a halting site on Grove Lane, off the Malahide Road.
