Cowen to discuss more state involvement in schools

Taoiseach Brian Cowen has told the Dáil that he intends to discuss the possibility of greater state involvement in the running of schools with Education Minister Batt O'Keeffe.

Cowen was responding to questions from Labour leader Eamon Gilmore, who referred to comments made last night by the Archbishop of Dublin.
