Finglas murder victim named

Gardaí have named the man who was stabbed to death in Finglas in Dublin on Friday.

Maurice Martin, 21, from Navan, Co Meath was discovered with stab wounds in the Cardiffsbridge Road area.

Meanwhile, investigations are continuing into the discovery of the body of a 34-year-old man near Balbriggan in Dublin, just hours later on the same day.

He was shot dead.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
