Post mortem due on Finglas stabbing victim

Gardaí say a post mortem will be carried out tomorrow morning on the body of a man discovered in Finglas this morning.

Gardaí say a post mortem will be carried out tomorrow morning on the body of a man discovered in Finglas this morning.

The discovery was made by a taxi driver at around 5am.

The man, who is yet to be identified, sustained a number of stab wounds and gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have information to come forward.

No definite lines of inquiry are being followed at this stage.

Inspector John Ferris said that gardaí are unsure of where the killing took place.
