Two held in connection with drug seizures

Two people were in custody today after drugs worth €350,000 were seized during a series of raids across Dublin.

Cannabis, ecstasy and heroin were uncovered in the swoops in the south of the capital yesterday as well as a quantity of cash.

A man in his 50s is being held at Kevin Street Garda Station while a woman in her 20s is being questioned at Harcourt Terrace.

Both are being held under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.
