Cork manufacturer to shed 90 jobs

Ninety jobs are to be lost in Cork after Corden PharmaChem announced it is to close its manufacturing plant in Little Island from autumn of this year.

Ninety jobs are to be lost in Cork after Corden PharmaChem announced it is to close its manufacturing plant in Little Island from autumn of this year.

The company said the decision has been taken with great regret but the Cork operation is no longer viable.

A consultation process with staff representatives and customers will begin next week.
