Viable bomb found at Dublin house

Gardaí in south Co Dublin are investigating the discovery of a viable bomb in the driveway of a house in Dun Laoghaire.

An army bomb disposal team was sent to Rose Park following the discovery yesterday evening.

The device was found behind a car parked in the driveway.

A number of homes were evacuated temporarily before the bomb was taken from the scene.
