Average house prices in Ireland have fallen by 4.9% in the first four months of this year, according to the latest figures from Permanent TSB and the ESRI.

Average house prices in Ireland have fallen by 4.9% in the first four months of this year, according to the latest figures from Permanent TSB and the ESRI.

The two organisations say prices have fallen by almost 11% over the past 12 months, with the average house now costing less than €250,000.
