Man in serious condition following Antrim gang attack

Police in the North are investigating a serious attack on a man in Co. Antrim in the early hours of this morning.

The 30-year-old was attacked by up to five men in Ballymena at around 1am.

He suffered serious head injuries and is being treated in hospital where he is said to be in a serious condition.

The PSNI is investigating a motive for the attack and is appealing for witnesses to come forward.
