HSE: Strike has major implications for patients

The HSE says today's strike at Sligo General Hospital has major implications for the delivery of safe patient care at the hospital.

The Executive says the only cover being made available is six nurses and two midwives who are operating from a room within the hospital as part of an on-call service.
