Gardaí release four men held after Lucan raid
Gardaí in Dublin have released the four men they were questioning in connection with an attempted armed raid on a cash-in-transit van last Friday.
A 27-year-old man from the north inner city died after being shot by armed gardaí during the incident on the Foxborough Road in Lucan.
A second man in his 20s was also shot and is still recovering in hospital.
Three men were arrested when gardaí investigating the case stopped a car in Neilstown, while a fourth man was also detained in the Lucan area on suspicion of involvement in the raid.
All four have now been freed without charge pending instructions from the DPP.
