Body found in crashed car's boot

The body of a man was found in the boot of a crashed car, gardaí said today.

The dead man, believed to be in his 20s, was discovered in the Finglas area of north Dublin at around 10pm last night.

The car had been abandoned at a roadside in the St Joseph’s Park area.

Gardaí said the car and body remained at the scene and both the State Pathologist and forensic teams have been called in.

Anyone who was in the St Joseph’s Park area of Finglas last night is urged to contact detectives at Finglas station.
