Man in critical condition following stabbing

A man is in a critical condition in hospital in Kerry this morning after being stabbed yesterday.

The 32-year-old man was attacked in Tralee, Co Kerry at around 7pm yesterday evening.

He was removed to Kerry General Hospital where his condition is being described as critical.

Gardaí arrested a 28-year-old man in connection with the attack shortly afterwards.

He is being detained at Tralee Garda Station.
