Appeal for youths to register to vote

The National Youth Council has issued a last-minute appeal to people, especially the young, to check if they are registered to vote in the forthcoming elections.

Registration closes on Monday.

Any young person who is currently over 18 or who will be 18 by polling day on June 5 can still apply for inclusion on the register.

The Council is warning that some people may not realise they do have a vote.
