Elderly woman dies in Limerick road accident
Four people have been killed in three separate crashes on the country's roads today.
In the latest incident, an elderly female pedestrian was killed when she was hit by a car in Corbally in Limerick shortly after 2pm this afternoon.
Earlier, a Garda and another man were killed in a two-car collision in Belmullet, Co Mayo.
The Garda Ombudsman Commission has launched an investigation into the crash, which happened just before 6am this morning.
In the North, a man has been killed in a crash on the Falls Road in Belfast.
