Martin meets Ban Ki-Moon

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Micháel Martin has been in discussions with the head of the UN today.

Mr Martin met with Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon in New York, to discuss a number of issues, including Sri Lanka, Sudan and Chad and the Middle East.

They also discussed the importance of agreeing on a new global treaty on climate change in Copenhagen next December, as well as the swine flu virus.
