Kenny criticises McCreevy over comments

Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny has criticised EU Commissioner Charlie McCreevy for comments he made in Dublin this morning about Irish political parties.

Mr McCreevy called for an end to "Punch and Judy" politics and an increase in cross-party co-operation, for the good of the country.

He said political parties should put aside their differences to deal with the economic crisis.

Speaking in Cork Enda Kenny hit out at Mr McCreevy for his comments saying he was responsible for some 'Punch and Judy' politics himself.
