Fourth arrest made in Dublin murder investigation

Gardaí in Dublin have made another arrest today in connection with the murder of Peter Gunn in the city last January.

A 31-year-old man was detained in north Dublin this morning and is being questioned at Finglas garda station.

He is the fourth person to be held in connection with the killing of Mr Gunn, whose body was found dumped in The Ward on January 15.

He had disappeared two weeks earlier in the north inner city.

A post mortem revealed he had been stabbed to death.

The other three people questioned in connection with the killing have all been released without charge pending instructions from the DPP.
