18-year-old pleads guilty to murder of Belfast shopkeeper
An 18-year-old man has pleaded guilty to the murder of 65-year-old shopkeeper Harry Holland in Belfast two years ago.
Two other people are also awaiting trial in connection with the murder.
Harry Holland was stabbed in the head with a screwdriver after giving chase to someone he saw try to steal his delivery van from outside his home.
In court in Belfast this afternoon, 18-year-old Steven McKee - who was sixteen at the time of the killing - pleaded guilty to murder.
He also pleaded guilty to affray, possessing a knife, a hammer and a screwdriver, threatening to kill another man and causing a woman actual bodily harm.
The judge postponed setting the minimum time McKee must serve before being considered for release until pre-sentence reports and victim impact statements from the dead man's family.
