Four held hostage during tiger raid in Belfast

Police in the North are investigating the theft of an undisclosed sum of money during a so-called tiger raid in Belfast this morning.

Three women and a man were held hostage by the raiders while another man was forced to go to his workplace in the south of the city and withdraw the money.

He was then instructed to leave the money at a location in the Greater Belfast area.

The PSNI says the four hostages were later found safe and well at a house on Glen Parade in west Belfast.
