Greens choose Geary for Dublin Central by-election

The Green Party has selected its candidate for the forthcoming Dublin Central by-election.

David Geary is also running for the party in the local elections in Dublin's North Inner City ward.

He says his by-election campaign will focus on making Dublin cleaner, bringing green jobs to the city and improving public transport.

Mr Geary will be battling for the seat with Fine Gael's Paschal Donohoe and independent Maureen O'Sullivan.

Fianna Fáil, the Labour Party and Sinn Féin have yet to choose their candidates.
