Lorry smashes into three houses in Co Monaghan

An articulated lorry has ploughed into three houses in Co Monaghan today, partially demolishing one of the buildings.

The accident occurred when one of the truck's tyres burst at a bend on the N2 Dublin to Derry road near the village of Emyvale.

Nobody was seriously injured in the incident.
