Levies and cutbacks to dominate GRA conference

The public-sector pension levy and the effects of Government cutbacks are set to be high on the agenda as rank-and-file gardaí prepare to hold their annual conference in Co Kerry today.

Many members of the Garda Representative Association are angry about the effect the pension levy and other tax hikes will have on their take-home pay.
