Man remanded for sentencing after pleading guilty to INLA membership

A Dublin man has today pleaded guilty at the Special Criminal Court to INLA membership last year.

Gareth Dunne (aged 23), of Clonard Road, Crumlin admitted membership of an unlawful organisation styling itself the Irish National Liberation Army, otherwise the INLA on February 22 last year.

Dunne was remanded for sentencing at the end of the trial of four other men who have denied INA membership on the same date.

Their trial ,which is expected to last six weeks, is due to begin this afternoon.
