Labour launches European elections campaign
The Labour Party has officially launched its campaign for the European elections in Dublin today.
The party is putting four candidates forward for the election in June.
MEP Proinsias De Rossa will be defending his seat in the Dublin the constituency, while Nessa Childers is contesting the Ireland East constituency.
Senator Alan Kelly is standing in the South and Susan O'Keeffe in the North West.
Labour leader Eamon Gilmore says the party's main policy priorities for the elections are safeguarding employment, creating jobs and promoting green growth.
